Our Mission

The Federation helps its members provide dynamic public library service while maintaining their local autonomy.

IslandLink Library Federation, established in 2008, has 4 member libraries: Alert Bay Public Library, Greater Victoria Public Library, Powell River Public Library and Salt Spring Island Public Library.  IslandLink members are autonomous public libraries which recognize the value of sharing resources and coordinating efforts to improve access to library service in their communities by:

•  Using resources well.
•  Developing quality public library service.
•  Working collaboratively.
•  Creating training and professional development opportunities.
